Pain

by JoshNY, Dec 09, 2008 11:51AM
I may have IBS, although my doctor isn't quite ready to diagnose, although I have had numerous tests that haven't revealed much.

Let me ask you guys...

Does anyone ever get mid to lower abdominal pain that comes in waves?  I'll be totally fine, then there will be a cramp-like pain that grows in intensity and then dissipates over the course of 30 seconds or so.  The pain is usually mild to moderate.

Thanks for any help!

About all I can come up with is trapped intestinal gas, which Alka Seltzer should help that.  When I was younger, after a once-a-week midday dinner, I'd get that.  But it was much more intense and painful than what you describe.  Anyhow, I ate less at that meal, and it went away.
