Hi! I, like Nivedita, got the same type of pains. It hurt more
after I ate and after I would go to the bathroom. Both urinating
and bowel movements. I just got home from a 9 day stay in the hos
pital over it. Mine turned out to be adhesions. They are reluctant to do surgery because with adhesions it's a catch 22. Remove them and bring relief to the patient, or take the chance of eventually getting even more adhesions from the surgery. Have you had surgery in the past 3 years? If so, maybe you could suggest adhesions to your doctor. They can be very painfulPainful menstrual periods and even cause an obstruction.
When I press down on my stomach in different areas, i feel nothing. But the pain is there constantly for 24 hours a day.... burning and discomfort :'( I dont want to die from anything :'(

Good Luck,

I have been having some pretty bad pains in my abdomen, and lower back for a couple months. The doctor ruled out a lot of things since I am only 19, and my family history does not involve many of the things we talked about.
I have no fever, no presence of blood anywhere, just pain and burning. I believe it could be a side-effect from some Augmentin medication I have been taking during that time period that may have caused intestinal inflamation (inflammation) or some in the stomach. But I am not to sure.. and everytime I go to the doctor, he tells me its something stupid like 'growing pains or something dealing with gas..." trust me, I have been 5'9" for 2 years, steady around 160lbs, and pretty athletic.
