Pancreas Tumor - should there be a sense of urgency?

A CT Scan has revealed a tumor on my Husband's pancreas.  The Dr. referred him to a Gasternologist, but they can't see him to do a biopsy for two weeks.  From what I have read the size of the tumor is very important in determining treatment and if the individual survives.  My husband has developed new symptoms in the las few days, so it is obvious the tumor is growing and causing more problems.  Should we look for someone who can see him sooner or will there be no change in two weeks?

I would check around. If your able to get in to a GI in a day or 2 as opposed to weeks, it will only help your husbands case. Especially if he is starting to get new symptoms. The quicker they remove it, the better he will be, both long term(survival) and short term(comfort)
