Pancreas problem

Hello,

Recently I got in ER with diagnosis pancreatatis. My lipase level was 907 (norm 70-110). I had several blood tests done, EUS, CT and Hida Scan - they all negative. However, it's been a month already and I still feel pressure under my left rib area. I feel bloated all the time... I assume that it is pancreas... However, I am very scared about some serious abnormalities in pancreas. Can anyone help me with the explanation of the tests I had - is it enough to rule out the bad things? I am very very scared and going crazy because I do not know what is going with me.....

Diagnosis of pancreatic disease may be done on a basis of

- pancreatic enzymes in the blood
- CT of pancreas

It is a doctor, who should tell you what it was?

What was the reason for pancreatitis?

If you were having a severe pancreatic disease, you would experience bad diarrhea, bad pain, and you would feel very ill in general.

Pressure and bloating may be still from pancreatitis not healed completely. Bloating may also be from several other reasons.

The problem is that after all these tests my GI decided to send me to the pancreas specialist.... That is why I am so concerned about it....

Sometimes I have pain that radiates to my back after meal... I never had it before I had EUS done....

CT and EUS are quite accurate to find pancreatic diseases, and if there were a cancer, it would probably be seen.

Do you drink a lot of alcohol?
