Passing Air, Not Gas ?

Passing Air, Not Gas ?

I have been having digestive problems since a year ago, just after a bout of what we thought was food poisoning...  I have suffered a great deal of weight /body wasting, slowed transit, bloody mucus stool, sharp pains in abdomen, loss of bladder and bowel sensation.. I am only 40 y/o...

There is something I am wondering here...  if anyoe has an idea what this could mean...  Since I got sick, I pass some air, but not gas.. i can tell the difference because it does not have an odor..  I even had my wife (at her reluctance) take a whiff and she agrees, it's just air .. no smell...    Could this be because I have lost the flora? not enough digestive enzymes? the transit time off?

When you tell a doctor things like this they start looking at you like you are a psych patient, I am sure you guys can relate...
