This discussion is related to Color change in stool.


I have been having dark green oily stools for a couple of weeks and also lower back pain that is releived after I have a bowel movement.

You need to make an appt. with your doc and have some tests run. When people have oily stools it could be due to fat malabsorption and the cause needs to be found. A couple of common problems related to that are gallbladder or pancreatic issues and celiac disease.
