Has anyone taking Paxil expereince any abdominal pain. My IBS is flareing up and my pain is below my belly button and can move from right to left. Thanks George.

I have the same problem let me know what yours is.  I have had a colonoscopy and everything was clear except diverticulosis.  I have belching also.  I think I may have irritable bowel syndrome also.  My stomach gurgles at night.  I have been given Nexium but have not taken it  yet.

Yes, I take about 10mg or less a day...for about 2 weeks now...I do get some abdominal pains..minor...I think its just gas build up since the drug does slow down your gastro system along with other things it slows down...like during sex if you know what I mean...Actually the later is a good thing....If you exercise or just walk everyday it will help move the gas through your system until your body adjusts....How long have you been taking the Paxil ?
