Peptic ulcer or gallstones or both?

The last three weeks here are my increasing symptoms and it resulted in 2 ER visits the last 2 days. All docs are saying ulcer primary. Last ER doc said ulcer but could have been a gallstone stuck. However, none of these docs are sending me for MRI and/or ultrasound. Insurance covers both and I want the more definative to define sludge possibiilties (MRI) over the ultrasound.

We're talking slowly since Nov but the last three weeks have been ridiculous:

indigestion
burping immediatley after a meal
middle upper pain in stomach
esophogeal feeling like something is stuck
on and off severe middle stomach pain like someone is stabbing me (rare but it happens)
severe nausea where I can't eat because it also feels like a lead weight
wretching out of the blue
dry heaves out of the blue
vomiting out of the blue
no blood out of any oriface
sometimes pain radiating down my upper thigh(s)

New pain:

yesterday severe stabbing back pain in lower flanks like someone was stabbing and ripping muscles off myback
couldn't breathe in all the way. Each inhalation = stabbing/ripping pain for an hour and a half. By the time I got to the ER it was gone
Dizziness/lightheadedness/going to passout/disoriented
Felt like blood was rushing down my arms to my hands and pooling there. No outward side. Once pain/dizziness gone so was this feeling.

urine test negative
EKG fine
h. pylori breath test negative
CBC, pancreas, LFT blood test clear
scheduled for endoscope next week.

ER docs are guessing ulcer + gastritis and MAYBE some gallstone action going.

I'm on Nexium and Acidphex. Helps but not 100%. Gets me through the morning but by the time I wake up everything is there from pain to nausea until I take the Acidhex.

I know you're not my doc but am I crazy thinking this could be some sort of gallstone thing too? The docs think I'm nuts.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  I'm sorry no one has responded to your posting.  It sure sounds like gallbladder to me and a gallbladder scan sounds like a good idea.

Sorry edits.

ER twice in the past 6 days. Pain increasing. And felt like blood pooling to my fingertips but no physical signs of anything odd (no discoloration/swelling)
