I would like some suggestions for symptoms of severe malabsorption. Background: femaleCondoms Female condoms Female sexual dysfunction, 50 yrs old.
Dxd with perniciousPernicious anemia anemia 10 years ago. Gall bladder was removed 25 years ago and no problems detected since that time. PA has been under controlControl Control rx with weekly B12 shots. 2 years ago began having stomach issues such as severe stomach cramping (not the intestines). Have had regularRegular insulin stomach biopsies done over the last 10 years. One year ago was dxd with severe iron anemia and started on monthly iron infusions while everyone tries to guess at what is wrong. Biopsy done last year showed zero acid, thinning of the stomach wall but no other obvious problems.
Also 2 years ago I was considering gastricAdjustable gastric banding Culture of gastric tissue biopsy Gastric cancer Gastric culture Gastric suction Gastric tissue biopsy and culture Gastric ulcer Gastroparesis Peptic ulcer Pyloric stenosis Weight-loss surgeriesbypassHeart bypass surgery Heart bypass surgery - series and the gastric doc tested me for H. Pylori and said I was positive. He started me on a triple med pack for 10 days. On day 7 I became severely allergic and he stopped it. Other stressful factors caused me to cancel the gastric bypass all together. One of the most obvious issues with the malabsorption is the iron anemia but I have also observed that when I am anemic, my stomach apparently will cramp and causes muscle cramps up my left side of my chest wall and down the arm. It mimics heart problems. Had a complete heart stress test - not any issues with my heart. I've tried adding food enzyme pills to my diet, eating healthier, currently losing weight slowly, but still no answers. Where should I look next? My health insurance allows me to travel to any doctor that accepts BCBS across the nation. Is there a top doc in this area?? Thank you!
Cheers, T
