Persistent Vomiting

by HelpSeeker411, Jul 15, 2009 10:31AM
This past February, I started vomiting about once every two weeks for no apparent reason. I would cramp, vomit, and then feel fine and even be able to eat. I thought it was stress. This continued into June, when it started to happen about once a week. In the last two weeks, I've vomited a few times and now I have constant nausea from morning until evening. I can eat dinner, but have not been able to eat much during the day. I also have had really loose bowels the last two days. It's possible that I now have a stomach bug, but I don't know what could have caused the vomiting problem in the first place. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

HELPSEEKER411, MY DAUGHTER AGE 35 HAS BEEN VOMITING EVERY 2 WEEKS SINCE APRIL 1ST,
I NEED TO CALL THE RESCUE BECAUSE SHE IS VOMITING AND HAS LOTS OF ABDOMINAL PAINS,
ALL THE ER DOES IS GIVE HER ANTI NAUSUA MEDS AND PAIN MEDS WHICH QUIET EVERYTING DOWN FOR ABOUT 3-4 DAYS  SHE ADMITTED AND KEEPS GETTING THESE MEDS,
SHE HAD WEANED OFF STEROIDS FOR PAIN AND NOW IS BACK ON THEM, WHICH IS NOT HELPING, DOESNT MATTER IF SHE EATS OR NOT , SHE CAN VOMIT, USUALLY ITS WHITIST OR BEAUTIFUL GREEN (STOMACH FLUIDS SUCH AS BIL AND FLORA WHICH YOU NEED)   ALL THE DOCS DO IS MEDICATE HER  WITH NO RESEARCHING OR LOTS OF QUESTIONS TO SEE WHAT IS CAUSING THIS SO
I WOULD RECOMMEND TO YOU THAT YOU STAY ON THE INTERNET AND RESEARCH AND FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG, FOR LAY PEOPLE THAT IS VERY HARD,  GO SEE A GENERAL SURGEON 1ST THEN 2ND A GASTROINTESTIONAL DOCTOR (SURGEON!!)
, MY DAUGHTER HAS BOTH  NOT TO DISCOURAGE YOU BUT NEITHER HAS HELPED HER
I AM GOING TO TRY  LAHEY CLINIC OR CLEVELAND OHIO CLINIC NEXT AS THEY DIAGNOISE ISSUES AND OTHERS JUST SEND YOU ON YOUR WAY
A MOM WATCHING HER DAUGHTER SUFFER AND NO ONE IS DIGGING DEEP ENOUGH TO FIGURE THE ISSUES AT HAND, IT GETS REALLY DISGUSTING AS WE DEPEND ON THE MEDICAL FIELD AND WHEN THEY DONT PUSH FOR ANSWERS LIKE WE NEED   IT REALLY HURTS OUR TRUST IN THE MEDICAL FIELD
I WISH YOU ALL THE LUCK  AND WHEN YOU FEEL GOOD JUST GO AHEAD AND EAT GOOD SMALL MEALS AND JUST EAT TILL THE NEXT TIME AND HOPEFULLY THE NEXT TIME SOMEONE WILL DIAGNOSE YOU AND MY DAUGHTER    I AM BEYOND THE BREAKING POINT WITH THE MEDICAL FIELD NOT PUSHING FOR ANSWERS!!!
