Please Help. What could it be

OK had my GB out last may, in August went to the ER for serious abdominal pain, had a severe infection in my intestines. That got better, now i am having the same pain this time much more severe. No kidney stones and not my appendix. I cant keep any food down and I am running a fever. I am sick and tired of being in pain.

The pain is my URQ and LRQ and lower back. He just called me in some nausea med and an antibiotic. Not sure what kind of infection I had last time. treated it with 21 days of antibiotics. Now my doc want to do a colonoscpy to check for Ulcers and colon problems. but no nothing for pain.

What was the intestinal infection?  Did your docs ever tell you or diagnose it?  What does your doctor say so far about this latest flare?  Is he at least giving you something for the nausea and pain?

What type of infection did you have? It may or may not be pertinent. Where specifically are you experiencing the pain? Any underlying medical condtions? Are you on any medications?
