Post Colonoscopy Symptoms

I had a colonoscopy approx. a month ago. Since then I have been experiencing twitching, pain, itching and crawling sensations in my rectum and pain, spasms, and occasional numbness in my lower abdomin (abdomen). Is this normal? Should I contact my doctor about this?

Hi, while i think it is unlikely that this could have been a post symptom of a colonoscopy i wouldnt completely rule it out. And numbness of any sort really does need to be looked into. I think anything that causes your attention to it and to worry should probably be checked out by a doctor if for nothing else than to set your mind at ease. It could be perhaps symptoms attatched to whatever you had that resulted in you needing to have a colonscopy it is very hard to say, but i think a trip to even your GP could be a good idea.
