Post Pancreatitis Problems

Hi. I had acute pancreatitis in Sept 2006 and had surgery in March 2007 to remove 2 pseudocysts on the pancreas plus my gall bladder. I now only have a quarter of my original pancreas but am still able to eat/drink most things. However I have had semi regular( 8-12 weeks) bouts of vomitting and diarrhea ever since. They seem to come on quite suddenly and once my digestive system is flushed out I am ok. I have seen a specialist about it who has done blood & stool tests and a MRI scan but can find nothing wrong. He says my pancreatic function is normal. I take Losec on a daily basis to prevent acid reflux which was a problem post surgery. Can anyone give me some advice?

if you have/had pancreas problems they tend to come back here and there,,,i have a buddy that has chronic pancreatitis, and he gets same thing all the time,,well,in boughts just like you,,,see once the pancreas is in a "bad" way,it tends to progress,,,it never heals itself, just to let you know,,,you should read up on pancreatitis more, and better understand how it works.
