Post endoscopy pain?

I had an endoscopy yesterday and biopsies were taken. Today it is very painful to swallow anything. Is this normal? I had one 2 months ago with biopsies and it didn't hurt like this.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community! It is common to have some pain and a sore throat after an endoscopy, but you should be having a lot of pain. I would recommend calling your doctor about this ASAP.
