Post gallbladder pain

I had my GB removed on 5/13/11. For the first week, I had the pain from the surgery itself. The 2nd week I had a few times of very mild ache and I really felt great. In the past few days, the pain that I felt before surgery is back! I feel like a fool for doing the surgery if it had nothing to do with the GB! The difference this time, is that it is also in my back and up my shoulder blade on the right. I have had CT scan, chest xray, Songram and the HIDA scan prior the surgery. Blood was drawn for tests, not sure what test and urine was tested and was all normal. My ejection was just 45% {normal} but because the CCK injection caused the pain to come on is the reason it was removed. I felt really good for once after the first week. And now, I'm depressed again and just want to cry from hurting again! I don't know what else can be done or what it could be! I just want to feel normal again!!!!!

Are you following a low fat diet? If not, give it a try. In addition, talk to your doc about trying some anti-spasm meds. If you're having spasms of the bile duct or sphincter of Oddi, it might calm it down. In addition, check with the doc to see if any sludge was found when the GB actually came out. If there was sludge, ask the doc to follow-up with an MRCP to see if any of the sludge could have escaped into the common bile duct during the surgery and that could be the cause of the problem.

Also had and endoscope during a Colonoscopy too. Endoscope was normal. Colonoscopy showed ulcerative colitis down the last part of colon and a polyp that was removed during the test. All biopsies showed ok.
