Prevacid reaction

I was taking Aciphex for a month but always felt the pill was too strong. I noticed I started to develop heavy mucus coming after meals specially,  and that wouldlmake me feel like chocking because of the thickness, After that, it will stay on my throat and chest for a while.. I stopped the medication and was fine for a couple of days, still feeling some of the mucus after meals but I was more able to handle it.  n the fourth day,  I started developing again that same phlegm on my chest at any time and my voice starting getting hoars e again,, with some shortness of breath at talking. I went back to my doctor and since I have an endoscopy scheduled this week, she advised me to go back with aciphex only once again, and use nasonex to clear the phlegm in case it is an allergic reaction. Yesterday night instead of talking Aciphex, I took prevacid- I have taken it before and in the middle of the night I woke feeling my throat and chest were like close anf felt heavy andI was unable to swallon and got very scared. My mom gave me something for the gas and I started tapping my chest for over an hour. I guess both help me out and now I feel my chest and throat cleared. Was this an allergic reaction to the Prevacid? I do not feel hungry at this point, but i feel some heaviness in my abdomen area and  I also noticeD i expelled like white foam from my mouth. Is this an allergic reaction to the medication. is there anything else i could do to feel more relief.. What do you think the mucus I have specially after meals or that start accumulated throughout the day is related to?  Please advise
