Primary Biliary Cirrhosis

Does anyone on this forum have Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC)?  I would like to "talk" to you.

I was diagnosed with negative AMA PBC on 14 Jan 2009 and was immediately started on Urso Forte 500 mg BID (ursodiol).   Since it is such a rare disease, I feel very much alone and I have numerous questions about side-effects of the medication.  I was also diagnosed with Celiac Disease 1 month earlier so my doctor is not sure whether my symtoms (symptoms) are due to adverse affects of the gluten-free diet, the PBC, or the Urso Forte.   For example, I am experiencing fatigue, IBS, hair loss, dry skin, dry eyes, and abdominal pain in the liver area.

As a female, the hair loss is very disturbing.  Does anyone have any thoughts on how extensive this is going to be?  I've been on the medication almost 2 months.  Will the hair loss level off or will I look like a chemo patient after a few months?  Is there anything I can do to prevent further loss?
