I had my gallbladder removed July 08. I was asymtomatic but was encoraged to have removed. I had 30+ stones. Since then can hardly eat. I have vomitting, diarreha and nausea. Surgeon said wait eight weeks. Waited 15 week and saw my regularRegular insulin doctor. She thought pancreatis sent for CT scan. Results normalNormal saline flush. I have lost about 30-40 lbs, Look great feel like ****. What wrong with me?
This article may be helpful. My symptoms were much worse before surgery on 09/12/08, but I'm just now regaining my appetite. My weight was as low as 109, but now I'm about 113 and feeling stronger. I was actually losing muscle bulk and tone! The surgeon says I was suffering from malnutrition, and started me on B12 shots. When I read about symptoms of vitamin deficiencies, it seemed to explain a lot of how I was feeling after surgery. So you need to be on vitamin and mineral supplements and probably get B12 shots to get your appetite and energy back.
