Problems still after having bowel obstruction surgery

Problems still after having bowel obstruction surgery

My son was three when he had his bowel obstruction surgery & a month later had another bowel surgery because of scar tissues cutting circulation off to the bowel. He is eight yrs old and still is on medication for his bowels. For the last three days he has been unable to have a bowel movement. Dr has told me to double up on medication and to give him senokot also. Done all those and still nothing. Will he every grow out of having to take medications the rest of his life. And is is possible that he may be having another bowel obstruction?

For relief of constipation you might try jostling one buttock while defecating. The vibrations transmitted to the rectum reduce friction with dry stool and stimulate expulsion. This technique worked for me but I didn't have any surgery.
