Problems stopping Prevacid?
Has anyone ever had any problems going off Prevacid, in terms of withdrawal? Or experienced anything unusual if you missed a dose?
Thanks!

Ive only been on Nexium and had no withdrawl
(withdrawal)
problems at all. Well I did have problems but that was because I still had to much acid. When I finally did stop and had NO acid I had no problems coming off the meds.

I was on prevacid for about two months and went off. Definitely no withdrawals.

I recently kicked Prevacid. I tried to taper but got bored with it and just quit cold. Nothing happened except acid.
I consulted with a Pharmacist before stopping, too. He said I could stop all at once. I tried to taper just to be sure.
