Pyloric Stenosis

Pyloric Stenosis

My son had Pyloric Stenosis at about 3 weeks old, that was 39 yrs. ago. It was repaired. As he was growing up, he would eat then throw it up, not every time though. He does not get nausiated, just throws up! And belches alot.
Could this be a result of having had the above mentioned problem. It continues even now as an adult.

PS surgery like many other operations leaves ongoing issues, some immediate, some long-term, some severe and others not. Many incl myself quickly put on a lot of weight as babies and as adults have an oversensitive stomach and somewhat irritable bowels - research has shown the pylorus usually returns to normal within months of the surgery but there are too many reports of unusual bowel behaviour. But then, how many no-PSers also have IBS, GERD, etc!
Best wishes to your son.
