Question about Miralax

Question about Miralax

So long story short on and off for a week or so I have had a days worth of severe abdominal pain. I went to the er the night before last and he sent me for an ultrasound to see if it was my gallbladder....it wasn't. He told me if I was still in pain to go back to the er. I am almost 100 percent sure I have an impaction. I feel like I need to use the bathroom but when I go its like hard and small. My stomach makes awful noises and the pain comes and gos. I haven't had an appetite. I bought some miralax and took about twelve hours ago. I'm not sure how long it takes to work or how much to take. It says on the bottle to fill to the white line and mix with liquid but it doesn't say how many times you can take it a day. I did it twice and so far am still constipated. Can I take more? Or should I wait for it to kick in? Any help would be great! I'm still paying off medical bills from having my son last year and his mris. He has another one next week so if I can fix this on my own it would be great! Thanks!

If you are still passing some stool, then I would recommend drinking an entire bottle of magnesium citrate along with lots of water and see if that works.  It should help within a day.
