For 3 days now I have had a mild stabbing pain that comes in waves just below my naval.  Is this a cause of concern?  Eating doesn't seem to affect it.  I have no change in my bowels.

Dear Kim,
Pain that is short lived, does not increase in severity and does not interfere with daily activities is usually not serious.  If symptoms persist or get worse you should see your doctor
