Any over the counter medication or anything else I can do?

Dear Josh,
Some patients with
gastroesophagealGastroesophageal reflux disease
Gastroesophageal reflux in infants reflux have a difficult time catching their breath and difficult swallowing. On the other
hand, it would be important to rule out other causes such as asthma or seasonal allergies. If you are overweight you might want
to try and lose a significant amount of weight. Watching your diet and adhering to anti-reflux measures may also help. You can
also try over the counter antacids or antisecretory drugs such as ranitidine (Zantac 75), famotidine (Pepcid AC), cimetiidine
(Tagamet HB) or nizatidine (Axid AR).If these symptoms persist you should see your primary care physician for further
evaluation.
