Re growth of gallbladder
a friend of mine had his gallbladder removed about 8 months ago.  He is still complaining of the same symptons.  Today he acutally felt as though he never had his gallbladder removed.  Is it a possibility that it can grow back?

It cannot grow back, but some people can have continuing symptoms that feel the same. Is your friend following a low fat diet? If not, suggest that it might be a good idea. Many people have problems processing fat the way they did beforehand, and it could take awhile to adjust.

But if he is feeling pain much like having a gallbladder attack, he needs to check back with his doc and possibly have some further testing done to see if some sludge or stones could have escapted into the common bile duct during the surgery. That stuff can irritate the duct and make people miserable.
