Dear Kerry,
It is difficult to know why you have developed these problems after the gall bladder surgery.
EsophagitisEsophagitis
Herpes esophagitis
Herpetic esophagitis or gastritis could be the cause. Both these conditions can resolve with therapy, although symptomatic recurrence is frequent.
