Rectal Itching

by cowcaddens, Jul 07, 2009 08:51AM
For the past 2 years i have been putting up with this rectal itching,i am now in 3 years remission from Hodgkins lymphoma, and had Achalasia, don,t know if these ailments are causing this, went to a colorectal doctor 18 mos ago complaining of burning and itching 3 hemorrhoids were detected and removed was told the itch would stop,it did not, went back again a fungus infection was seen, steroid cream was applied itch did not stop  went to another colorectal doctor imflammation was seen,a skin biopsy was performed, results came back negative was told to keep the area clean, use wipes and cotton balls and avoid soap.Seven months ago a rash broke out on my penis head went to a dermatologist was told it was psoriasis there, and also in the rectum area applied steroid cream, rash on penis cleared-up but not in the rectum area, 3 mos ago went to another dermatologist for the rectal itching was told it was not psoriasis in the area, severe imflammation was seen was told to stop using wipes could be causing a allergic reaction, was prescribed clobetasol, rash on outside of rectum kind of cleared up,but not the itching on the inside he told me since the itching is on the inside you have to see a colorectal doctor,i feel like a ping-pong ball going from doctor to another, i told them the burning and itching happens when i do a bowel movement and soon as i wipe, it itch's like crazy
