Rectum Discomfort

I have had anal discomfort for some time now i have been tested for hiv after having unprotected sex last year i went to a specialist he said it was minor hemmroids he gave me some cream but it is still discomfort how long does hemmroids last and what can i  do to make them go away? And the hiv test was negative by the way does hiv cause anal discomfort?

If you are HIV negative, then you probably don't have HIV. Hemorrhoids may trombose and cause pain. Inflammation in Crohn's disease may result in painfull ulcers or abscess - which is a painfull bulge filled with pus. Candida infection causes itching in anal area. Colon cancer may appear after age of 50.

Hemorrhoids become bigger or smaller in few days. Walking can help, or at least not a lot of sitting and not straining at bowel movements.
