I had an endoscopy done 6 months ago. and the Dr. put me on Prilosec twice a day. I think I am needing to take it 3 times a day. wanting to know if taking the Prilosec 3 times a day is O.K.

Depending upon the dosage, you may already be at the maximum amount that is generally prescribed (or that will do any good). If you've changed your diet along with taking the meds and you're not getting relief, go back to your doc and discuss changing the type of medication you're using. They're not all alike and they can work differently for each person. But diet can play an important part, too.
