Reflux?Pryloric stenosis? or something completely different?

by los, Jun 10, 2001 12:00AM
My son is 3 months and one week and has just had an operation on his stomach for pyloric stenosis.  From what I can gather this is quite late on for it to be detected.  He was in hospital just recently with para influenza group 3 where he was also diagnoised as having reflux.  I have been told by a docter at the hospital that this was a mis diagnosis and that it was actually pyloric stenosis all along.  Now some days after the operation he is still being quite sick and is back on his thickned feeds, and i am now being told that it is reflux!  I am so confused, please help!

Sounds like reflux to me.  Either that or they did not cut pyloris loose enough.  I would definatley get a second opinion.
Good Luck!
