Hi sweetie...It is natural to be nervous, I was! But it will be okay. When I more energy to sit here I shall give you all the details, I promise! : ) It really was a breeze!! I didn't even need any calming agent. I think they gave me some right before going into sugery but didn't ask for it. I got there at 11am..and they didn't operate until 1 and was home by 4-4:30pm. I am here for you. But getting a tad bit tired will give you all details later! Take care...
thank you! trying to take it easy, but I am so stubborn I can't keep my butt on the couch or bed for anything. Let me just say I am starting too, because the pain starting kicking in. So I am just laying down and watching TV but wanted to log on one last time for tonight and see how everyone else is doing.
YES...............Finally glad it's over!!!!
gnorb..One day soon I will post all my details and if you specific questions you can ask away. For now taking a friends advice I met in this forum...TO REST!!!! I was acting as though I hadn't been through anything. It gets to ya. When are you getting yours done? Take care. PAIN KILLER is kicking in....back to bed I go. : )
I don't often say this, but go! Put yourself in a drugged stupor and don't you dare get out of it until you're feeling better. ;-)
As for when my surgery is... that's a complicated matter. My GP says "get it out now, you've had a number of attacks." My gastro says "I'd like to run a few more tests, please, if you feel you can wait." (I was dx'd with Gastroparesis
& GERD. Doc wants to do tests to figure the best way to go about things.) And the surgeon says "I don't want to do anything until the gastro gives the go-ahead." The GP sent him a letter requesting to move on this NOW, but 2 weeks later the guy's been quieter than a ninja's church fart. Meanwhile, I'm fearing for my life that another attack will happen, and every day there are symptoms, PPI's don't work anymore, and my only hope lies in alternative therapies until I can get the stony, dyskinesic GB out.
