The ultrasound shows a small hemangioma as well as gallstones. A liver hemangioma is a benign lesion that normally requires no treatment, unless it is causing symptoms.
The gallstones are not an uncommon finding. Surgery is normally considered if the gallstones are causing symptoms (i.e. nausea, vomiting, right upper quadrant pain). If there are no symptoms, then gallstones can normally be observed.
