Right side constant abdominal pain BELOW ribs, Intense, HELP!
I have been experiencing intense pain in my right side of my abdomen, BELOW my ribs, not underneath, for a three weeks. At times it's so intense I'm curled up in a ball and am fighting back tears and get angry because I have three little boys that I do not like to see me in this way. I'm also the type that does not like to jump from dr to dr for a dozen test just to be told its indigestion or everything they found was negative. I guess I want to know should I be concerned or is 9 times out of 10 this type of thing end up to be nothing? My symptoms I'm having along with this that may not be related are: when I bend over that area of my stomach has intense pain, I can feel it like an apple is in there (heavy) bouncing and bruised or inflamed or something when I jog down the stairs or take hard steps or walk too fast (I won't lie and say run cause I don't run) , if I'm walking around its not as intense unless I'm bending over to squish that area of my abdomen, no one can ever lay on or put anything against my stomach because the weight will make me jump in pain. But oddly when I'm laying down and I push around my stomach to feel where it's tender exactly to check and see if it's my appendix or an ovary or something I don't feel any intense pain, just dull pain below my right ribs across the entire length of the rib to sternum. But when I stand up and push around my abdomen oddly if I slightly even push that same area under my rib I want to scream in pain. I've also been having a low fever of only 100-101 on and off and feel nauseous daily but not constantly, also my stomach has gained weight in that area or it's just sticking out for some reason, and I'm the type that after each of my pregnancies my stomach goes back to flat and hard with In a month (genetics). It's possible I'm just suddenly changing and gaining weight there but I do find it a little odd, it's the same size as when I'm about 4 months pregnant.
Also......, I'm 36 and female. I have never smoked or drank or drugs. I have taken a slew of drugs for different medical issues, acutane twice, antibiotics continuously for years, immitrext injections for years, currently am taking topomax (topamax) for migraines. Also, I have had the same type of pain in the past few years put it would only last about a week or less then go away and never was this intense or was constant.
