SGPT elevating slowly

by nsfil, Aug 14, 2002 12:00AM
Hi,

I am 22 now, In my childhood I was suffering from colds, asthma etc. I undergone some treatment, after that at the age of 19 I got infectious mononucleosis (EBV)[Additional testing for Hepatitis B was negative]. Since then, my SGPT level starts increasing. 10 months ago my SGPT was 53 (normal is 11-43). This month my SGPT is 81 while SGOT is 41 (normal is 11-38), gammaGT is 40 (normal is 10-50) and ALP is 60 (normal is 8-157). Is this increase of SGPT dangerous? What should I do now?

Regards,
Dem
