SOB/Edema

Very healthy 60 y/o white female, no recurrence.  Very athletic. Prior hx ovarian cancer Stage lllc. Surgeries 2004 primary, 2006 recurrence, 2008 remove blockage due to adhesions. Meds Synthroid .150mcg and multivitamin.

Last 12 months, experiencing pitting edema at ankles, Starts unilateral left ankle becomes bilateral after a few weeks if not tx w Lasix 20mg bid.  SOB, tachecardic, sweats (similar to menopausal). Last 3 weeks have had negative angiogram, all labs negative including autoimmune panel, pet/ct negative other than atelectasis or scarring in the posterior costophrenic sulci bilateral.  Best guess at this point is hypersensitivity pneumonitis but doesn't explain edema  (I have been building my own house in MX, cement dust/sheetrock dust).  Due to surgeries,anastomosis, tortured right colon and poor function take ducolax,or miralax or mom 2x p wk prn, per GI doc plus Align daily. Never have taken more than prescribed dose.  All GI tests negative (colonoscopy, endoscope) other than Level l GERD.

Understand not a simple case but do you think it is possible the laxatives are causing the  SOB/edema?
