STOMACH PAIN

by Dakota3, Jan 01, 2008 09:27AM
I have had a constant pain in my lower left side and lower back for 5 years. I have had an MRI, a CAT SCAN, and a few other test. At one time I did pass a gallstone and was hospitaled for two days. But my doctor didn't think I needed to take out my gallbladder, since I recovered after a few days. At time the pain is so bad I don't feel like doing much. I feel bloated and find myself rubbing my left side. The doctors calls it neruological stomach pain, and I take lyrica and ultracet to help with the pain, but I still suffer with it. Can this in any way be gallbladder problems. In Oct. of 2000 I had triple bypass, and 3 weeks later came down with a bad case of shingles which lasted several years. The stomach pain started in April of 2001. Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks.
