Scar Tissue form sugury

13 year ago I had a hysterectomy and they found one of my overies was inbedded in my colon. I did not have any trouble until about 18 months ago when I stated having problems with pain and trouble with constipation. My primary care doctor thought it us IBS. At first it happened about every 4 or 5 months but it is happening more frequent now.
I went to a gastrointerologist who had done a colonoscopy 4  month earlier and he said he was 99% sure it was scar tissue attahed to my colon. He gave my Bentyl and said drink lots of water and eat fiber to help with bowel movements. He siad they could take the scar tissue out but it would come back. There has been 2 times that it put me to bed form the discomfort and I feel like my gut is sore for a few days after this. When it hits me that hard I drink a lot of water and don't eat very much for about 24 hours and this helps. My doctor might be right but I am not sure.
