There are many reasons for blood on the toilet paper, including, hemorrhoids, an anal
fissureAnal fissure, polyps, and yes, cancer.
The best way to exclude cancer would be to obtain a lower endoscopy, such as a flexible
sigmoidoscopy or
colonoscopy.
