Sereve Constipation in cerebalpalsy children

My child is 2 years old she is a G-Tube dependant. She has chornic Constipation.The doctor has me giving her Miralax. I have tired eveything you can think of it has gotten real bad to where her bowels are so backed up.What else can be done cause its gotten to where i have to pull her bowels out of her.please help me give me some advice.

I know I have had some of the same issues and my doc put me on stool softeners and miralax. I tried a natural remedy and found it to be the best thing that ever happened to me.  It is a kit, called Clear Start.  It is fantastic.  Worth a try.  Let me know if you try it and how it goes.

Let her doctor know that the Miralax isn't working so he can increase the dosage.  It will work with the proper dosage which is often trial and error.  If you haven't consulted with a pediatric Gastroenterologist you need to do so right away.  There are various causes for stool to not pass through the intestines easily and she needs to be checked out for these conditions.  Best wishes.
