Severe Bloating, Severe Abdominal Pain in Lower Left Side
My mother is a 47 year old experiencing servere abdominal pain on the lower left side. Her stomach has become very bloated, resembling that of a third trimester pregnancy. She has been experiencing problems over the past year and has even been seen by her famlily doctor, her gyn and a gastroenterologist. GYN ruled out any issues in that area. Blood work has been done, CT scan with dye contract, and x-rays have been taken and everything checked out fine, however she is still experiencing very bad pain. She has experienced a tingling sensations of her lips twice now at random during all of this and today experienced a sensation of room-temp running water down her leg. She has not been prescribed any medications from any of the doctors she has seen and does not take anything other than an occasional asprin when needed. The pain has became so severe today she began vomiting. She also feels like she is carrying around "extra weight" in her stomach. She has continue to say there feels like a lot of pressure as well in the lower abdomin. When she does eat, which is not on a normal schedule because she does not feel like eating because of her pain, she feel very full off of very small amounts of food. When she sleeps she has to ball up on her side to get the slightest relief to sleep. She is not having any bleeding, no fever or chills present and bowel movements are regular. Because every test has come back normal but the symptoms and pain are still there we are puzzled.
