I did as you suggested and have a appointment for a Barium Meal, whatever that may be, perhaps someone could explain what that is please.
See a Gastroenterologist to get this checked out. They will get right to the problem, and time is of essence where our health is concerned and the older we get. Take care.
If this is not tied in with the diabetes, you may want to consider keeping a food diary to see if any foods or food groups are causing the problem. There is a rising awareness that food intolerances and food sensitivites can cause problems that surface at anytime during a lifetime. Foods that someone has been able to eat for years suddenly seems to 'turn of them.' Try an experiment and track what you're eating to see if things make it better or worse. Typically you'd have to remove a specific food or food group (such as dairy or gluten) for several weeks to see a change if foods are involved. Although that sounds like a long time, if you can isolate the problem that way it can make a wonderful difference in your life.
