Severe and persistent abdominal pain and bloating

I am experiencing severe abdominal pain and bloating since Monday. At the beginning I was feeling discomfort and bloating which later turned into pain, nausea and diarrhea. On Tuesday the pain became excruciating and it radiated to my stomach, making my nausea even worse. In the evening my stomach symptoms bettered but the instetinal pain continued. It felt sometimes colicky and sometimes persistent and I had so much gas but it was difficult for me to pass it (though I had mild diarrhea 3-4 times). Since Tuesday I am feeling excruciating pain and I have excesive gas(it is still somewhat difficult and painful to pass it). The diarrhea has stopped. The pain is so aweful that I can't stand up and I have to be doubled up. Also, the pain is generalized (although it hurts a bit more just above my belly button) and my abdomen is very tender to touch and movement (I can't walk or stand up). Have you any idea what that might be? Is it serious enough to go see a doctor? Thank you in advance,

No I don't smoke. The diarrhea lasted for two days. It has stopped completely. But the pain and bloating continues.
