Severe heartburn and chest pain

Ever since having my gallbladder removed *May 09* there are sooo many foods that make me sick.
I take Nexium 40mg on a daily basis which helps, but like today - 1/2 hour after eating lunch - peanut butter - i
had severe chest pains and indigestion, felt so sick I had to drive home.. then the panic set in.

I've been to several docs, most lately Cardiologists, they find nothing! Several ekg's later, several ER visits, the find nothing!

Can anyone relate?

Best of luck to you as well Worried.

I struggle everyday to find a solution. My family is losing patience with me.
I think they think i'm making this stuff up.

I narrowed down that I believe peanuts were the cause of my issues yesterday.
There is no reason why the Cardiologist says nothing is wrong with my heart, but I clearly have chest pain after eating and yesterday from walking around the sports track after lunch.

I had my gallbladder removed in December of last year.  Now recently I've had heartburn for the first time in my life.  Prior to the GB removal I never had any symptoms of acid reflux.  Took Prilosec for 2 weeks and then Nexium for a month but I believe I was experiencing some side effects from the PPIs.  When I went to a gastroenterologist last week I had been feeling a little better after stopping the Nexium.  So we decided to wait a week and see how it went.  Well, the last 2 days have been not so good so I have to call them and they'll set up an appointment for an upper endoscopy.  She also said mentioned possibly getting an MRI of my pancreas and biliary tract to make sure that they're are not gallstones leftover.  It is frustrating and I don't know what to do.  I thought all my issues would go away after the gallbladder surgery.  Now, I have some symptoms that I had before plus some new ones.  My abdomen is slightly tender to the touch from my sternum area to just above my belly button.  I some times get tightness in my chest and on my right side.  Like I said, I've experienced what I guess is heartburn which I had never had before.  Plus still burping a ton and also having hiccups more than usual.  Sorry for going on and one about me, I'm just frustrated and I'm sure you are as well.  Hopefully we'll both get answers and soon.  Best of luck to you!
