Severe pain even after removal of Gallblader

My GB has been removed a month before through laproscopy,after a single gallblader attack, but after one month I felt the same pain, ultrasound is normal, H pylori is Negative, but LFT is as follows:

Bilirubin Total............7.4             (0.1~1.0)
Bilirubin Direct...........5.9             (0.0~0.3)
Bilirubin Indirect.........1.5    
SGPT.......................435             (9~40)
AP.........................330             (65~306)

My concern is the reoccurence of same pain, plus disturbed
LFT,further the reason of indigestion despite of all precaution in diet.

I believe in that theory ...

Body of evidence is so huge, and even though I have been sceptic for over 2 years, it is hard not to accept that theory ...
Several months ago I did my first flush.
Since then, I have done 3 more.
I believe that there are over 2000 stories on internet supporting liver flush idea.  Even though it is all anecdotal evidence (anecdotal evidence is not considered equally important in research like documented evidence), ( anecdotal = with very few stories confirmed (like the story published in The Lancet))  it is huge body of evidence.

Question for patriot:
How did you put those photos in your post?
Is there some way to attach it?
I know that you can attach photos on hotmail. But, this web site is different.



I guess, only people who have economical interest will be closing their eyes to such anecdotal evidence.

The question is:  Why is liver flush quackery?

Quackery always have something to do with money.


Who is making money?  
Olive oil producers?
Grapefruit producers?
Producers of epsom salts?

Bingo!   NOW I KNOW!

I had severe pain after my gallbladder was removed also. Mine is the same pain I had before except instead of having it every 2 to 3 months its now on a daily basis. I don't believe liver flushing can help in my case, because I didn't have any stones. Just a poorly functioning gallbladder 15%. I have been through just about every test there is with nothing. My liver ensymes are now elevated where as before they never were. This has been going on for just about 18 months. Try looking at borland-groover.com look up sphincter of oddi dysfunction. You'll find about 10% of post gallbladder patients develope this. Good luck

There is absolutely no REAL medical evidence for gallbladder flushing.  Don't you think if it really worked, the people who "invented" it would be rushing to get a patent and make gobs of money?  

It is possible you have retained gall stones in the common bile duct (the duct that leads from the liver to the small intestine.  

This is best evaluated by an ultrasound.

Hi All...
     I had my gallbladder removed in 1996, and since then I have still been in extreme pain along with severe attacks that come at least once a month that force me into the hospital. I became sick when I was 17, I am now 23.
     I am having a procedure done tommorrow called an intercostal nerve block, and praying that it will stop the pain. I have had EVERY test imaginable, and some doctors, from Shands Florida, even invented a few to try and figure out exactly what is going on. All they know is that I have something called "Non-Specific Hepatitis" In other words, I am 'positive' for every single hepatitis anti-body known, yet I don't actually have a specific one. Along with that comes Biliary Duct Obstruction Disorder, yet they have only been able to see the stones and sand once by ERCP, ultrasound won't pick it up. Well, it did once when they mistook one of my worst stones with my gallbladder.
     All that I am trying to say, is not to give up. And if anyone knows of anything else that might help me, please write!!!! I could use all the help I can get....

I have had problems with severe pain since my gallbladder surgery Nov 2000. I would suggest if you are near shands. Try going to the Borland Groover clinic at Baptist. I also went to Shands and was basically told nothing is wrong with you. I recenting went through an ERCP with manometry with BGC at Baptist and had high pressure in my bile duct. They preformed and sphincterotomy. My pain is completely gone. I did end up with pancreatitis, but feel it was well worth getting rid of my pain. I had my gallblader removed last year, I still have pain much the same as before the removal.  I was reading the liver cleaning.  could I get a receipe please, I'm tired of being in pain. Is is normal for the scartissue to still hurt after 1.5 years. I always feel blotted.  I do beleive I have stones else where in my body and they need help to leave.
