hi there thanks for the reply,
I had the HIDA scan and my gallbladder functions are normal, it is puzzling my specialist as well as all my symptoms indicate a gallbladder issue. It's a nightmare trying to control the nausea as when I'm sick it irritates my my esophagus which is very painful.

Thanks again.x

Hello,
I had those symptoms and did not have gallstones.  HOWEVER, my doctor ordered a HIDA Scan which showed that my gallbladder was not functioning properly.  So, the pain can be your gallbladder - does not have to be stones.  After the results of the HIDA Scan, I had surgery within a week to have my gallbladder removed.

Hope this helps!
