I am a 35 year old womanWomen's way. I don't smoke, but I am significantly overweight. For a few days, I've been having lower right abdominal pain. For quite sometime, maybe a year or so, I have noticed my stool is kind of flattened looking. It's not pencil thin, just shaped different. I do have hemorrhoids (ever since I gave birth to my twins in 2000); my doctor found them a couple of years ago and said they're internal. They don't bleed, but I find I have itchingCauses of vaginal itching Eye burning - itching and discharge Itching Jock itch Muscle twitching Vaginal itching and soreness after a bowel movement. Suppositories seem to help. I'm a bit worried after reading about colon cancer.
Internal hemorrhoids are very uncomfortable and will cause itchingCauses of vaginal itching Eye burning - itching and discharge Itching Jock itch Muscle twitching Vaginal itching and soreness after a bowel movement. Just to make you feel better, ask your physician to order an abdominal CT Scan w/contrast. Abdominal Pain is the only diagnosis he needs to get this approved through your insurance company. This should show any other abnormality if there is one. Being significantly overweight puts an awful strainStrains on your gut. However, in my opinion, God gave us pain to identify that something in our body isn't right. The pain doesn't mean that it is anything life threatening, just something that needs to be checked out. Just follow through with your doc and I am sure you will find that it is nothing to be too concerned about. Good Luck.
