Should I have colon surgery

by Brandy123, Mar 10, 2002 12:00AM
I had a Colonoscopy done and they found that my colon and intestines were just one mase from past surgerys and scaring.  They said I could have surgery done to correct this or I could live with the pain.  I am waiting to see a surgeon. Any advise is welcome.

I think if it is painful and you could have surgery to take the painful, as long as the surgery doesnt pose any other  health risks, (other than the usual risks that come along with any surgery I mean), then I would say go ahead and have it done.  theres alot of us on here that are just dying to have someone give us cure for our pain.  You are one of the lucky ones if it works for you.  Good luck.

I'd have it if I was assured it would solve my pain. Be sure you know the risks. How much pain do you have and how much does it affect your life?
