Hi - I had the Nissen Fundoplication surgery 6 1/2 years ago. I vaguely remember having the shoulder pain you describe. It wasn't a constant pain but was off and on for a few months. The doctor never really had any rhyme or reason as to why it was there. My guess it was due to the amount of gas the pumped my stomach up for the procedure. Hope this info helps and that your pain goes away soon! Have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
