Spasms in stomach

I am 33, perfectly healthy, but for the past two days have been having spasms in my stomach where my bellybutton is, and to the right of that slightly. It is not painful, but it keeps me awake at night, and irritates during the day. Of course I am concerned a bit.
Any help is appreciated!

Gosh...you spent so much money! I am Canadian, so we all have health coverage...luckily. Do you feel pain with your spasms? I read that stress can be a trigger..no doubt...everyone has stress.
I will keep you updated. That was the first time I ever had that, so I haven't gone to the doctor. How often do you get spasms in your stomach?

We have a friend who belches excessively.  She drinks large amounts of coffee everyday, she is a heavy smoker, eats hot and spicy foods, drinks 1-2 drinks daily.  Her belches are so loud, she will belch all day, a few times in an hour, that is so loud and long what could this be from. She c/o of stomach pains a few times a week and she only weighs 100 pounds.  Any suggestions will help.  Thanks
