Have you had an ERCP with manometry done? That is the diagnostic procedure that is used and if the pressures
in the duct are elevated then the typical thing that is done is a sphincterotomy. But the manometry portion HAS to be done to find out what the pressure
levels are. If you haven't been looking for someone who is working specifically in the area of SOD, please do so. It's a condition that not many GI people really understand and it's nothing to 'practice' on. Seek out a specialist in SOD.
